2 Crafty and Shimmerz shares

Hello!  I have a few layouts to share today.  2 for my February 2 Crafty post and the other a Shimmerz project.

The first one today is a super sweet page of my Mason and my BFF's little girl.
We don't get to see each other often  (apart from every week on Skype). She lives over
the other side of the country in Perth but I am so happy I captured this sweet moment
 together when they recently visited.

I have used some beautiful pieces of 2 crafty chipboard here including
6" Clockface Frames
Alpha Set 1
Felicity's Flourish
Valentine Theme Set (Cherub with arrow)

"The Sweetest Photo Ever"

I have applied some Crackle paint to the "Valentine Theme Set" Cherub and then
added a little bit of Shimmerz colour.  I placed the Cherub in this position so it was
pointing up to the subjects in focus.

The "Felicity's Flourish" was layered in with my flowers which I then applied some
Shimmerz to the inner parts of the flourish.
I then used some water to blend the colour to the white.

The chipboard pieces team perfectly together with the Prima flowers.

I used a Prima mask with modelling paste and then I applied some crackle paint to the brick work.

I used lots of Shimmerz paint (see the Green Thumb dimensionz in there).

My second layout today is featuring my handsome big boy.   I have used lots
of cool chipboards here to make this fun, happy, boy page.
2 Crafty Chipboard used:
 Asst Arrows
Feather
Chicken Wire Panel
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars

"Unique"

Using a stitched plastic pocket I popped in some glitter, sequins and
 the "Tiny Hearts" chipboard.
Some of them I left raw and some I painted with Gesso.

The "Feather" was treated with some Shimmerz and then I added it to some
plastic feathers with some twine.  I popped a button on the centre of the feather.
I placed the "Chicken Wire"  under my photo mat layers and treated it also with
 dabs of Shimmerz colour.

I covered the "Asst Arrows" and "Tiny Hearts" with simple black paint to
make them pop off the page.

I dipped the feathers in some blue glitter.  Also using lots of mixed media techniques for the background.

My last share for today........my sweet middle man!!
I have a subtle palette of Shimmerz to share with you today.  A little different from my usual brights but these colours together are just beautiful, a little vintage even!!!

Shimmerz products used:

Vibez in Egg Noggin
Spritz in Treasured Hyme, Rock-A-Fella Blue and Bed of Roses.

"5"

I sprayed the Bed Of Roses under my embellishments and then went over it with the Egg Noggin to tone down the colour.  But I love the way the rustic colour matching in with the rust in the background of my photo.

I absolutely love Egg Noggin, it would have to be one of my favourite Shimmerz products.  I use it on alot of projects and it's a wonderful colour to mix in with others, it's really creamy.  It also has loads of shimmer to it.

Hope you enjoyed my post today :)
Thanks for dropping by!!
